Woodford House is a residential mansion block
situated near Regent Street and to ensure that we kept disruption
to a minimum, the scaffolding to the front of the property was
erected at the weekend. This sympathetic approach ensured that the
residents, general public and traffic were not inconvenienced
whilst these essential works were carried out.
As space to the rear of the building was limited,
electric cradles were utilised, which again ensured less
disruption to the residents and the surrounding buildings.
The works consisted of window and masonry repairs with
re-decorations to the exterior as well as the communal staircase.
The building was in poor condition, having last
been redecorated 15 years ago, and these works have brought the
building back to its former splendour, much to the delight of the
residents.
Construction Features
The building was accessed by scaffolding to the
front of the building and electronic cradles to the rear. This
reduced the clients costs and caused less inconvenience to the
residents.
