A major conversion of a former laundry building of
30,000 sq ft, to provide a new administration and treatment areas
for specialist care of children.
The building was constructed to the highest
quality NHS standards with state of the art services and data
systems.
Funding was provided by CHSL NHS Trust, Guy's
& St Thomas' Charity and the Wooden Spoon Charity.
The facility was officially opened by HRH The
Princess Royal on the 10th October 2000 and all parties were
congratulated on the quality of the facilities
