This project involved the remodelling of a 1970's
built care home. The works included the removal of Asbestos
containing materials, the complete strip out and renewal of the
gas and heating installation and the installation of a new
external lift shaft and new lift, linked to the building on three
levels.
Works included the provision of three domestic
kitchens, four accessible WC's, two en suite staff bedrooms and
wash hand basins on vanity units to all bedrooms. Laundry rooms
were provided to each floor.
Minor structural works included opening up the
ground and first floor areas to provide communal meeting areas.
