This project comprised the external refurbishment
of 5 high street shops and two public houses in this major
thoroughfare in North London.
The works consisted of: traditional reroofing;
replacement and refurbishment of original box sash windows;
repairing and recasting original stonework cornices and capitals;
refacing and repainting brickwork; replacement and renewal of shop
fronts; total redecorations and new signage.
The premises were occupied throughout and day to
day trading was also uninterrupted.
The contract was located adjacent to a multiple
bus stop and on a busy 24 hour ‘red’ route which required us
to arrange necessary suspension of useage to allow the works to
proceed to programme.
