As part of our ongoing partnering arrangement, Mulalley were requested to undertake works to various properties in the Bethnal Green Area.

These works involved minor pre-paint repairs and redecorations to the external and communal areas and to the special feature windows and doors.
High level access to the buildings was provided by the use of scaffolding, ladders, cherry pickers and vehicle mounting platforms.

The majority of tenants were ethnic Bengali, so to assist in our liaison duties Mulalley used the part-time services of Sahera Begum, one of our multi-lingual Resident Liaison Officers.

Following the success of Contract 1, Mulalley were awarded a new programme of works under the Spitalfields 05 Contract.

The works consisted of pre-paint repairs and redecorations to the exteriors, communal staircases and internal faces of the residents windows.
The properties were occupied and on the internal windows low odour/water based paints and stains were used in order to cause less nuisance to the residents.

The use of Vehicle Mounted Platforms was used extensively to assist any residents’ worries regarding security issues and inconvenience.
