A 58 week design and build project to construct 3 new extension’s providing 7 classrooms, 2 science labs plus preparation areas, offices and a staff room.

External works include a new car park and emergency access facilities, playground and tennis courts.

The extensions are to be constructed using a timber frame solution and, following discussions with our supply chain partners, Mulalley decided to use a traditional timber frame supported by Roe Timber to meet our quality cost and time requirements.

In conjunction with the new extensions, extensive refurbishment and alteration works will be undertaken to provide an art room, IT facilities and 4 further science labs and we are converting the existing gym into new music and drama rooms. In total, there are 4 phases to the project

The school is full operation throughout the construction with the health and safety of the students of paramount importance requiring extensive pre-planning and co-ordination between ourselves and the school to ensure both construction and the school run smoothly.

The new buildings will obtain a very good BREEAM rating through the use of sustainable materials and modern methods of construction.
