After a long relationship with IDS, Mulalley were
pleased to be selected as their partner contractor for planned and
cyclical decorating works. The initial programme (early 2004) was
based around the Navarino Mansions Estate in North London.
Mulalley undertook value engineering exercises with the client and
together the partnership ensured the highest standards and Best
Value were achieved.
The external works to these two blocks consisted
of minor repairs and external redecorations with internal
redecorations to the communal areas.
The blocks were fully occupied and included a
sheltered/ managed elderly scheme.
The exterior elevations were accessed by a
combination of scaffolding and cherry pickers.
Following the success of the 2004 partnership, in
2005 Mulalley were instructed to undertake a new programme of
works at Navarino Mansions. The works again consisted of minor
repairs, redecorations to all exterior areas and internal communal
staircases.
Phase II was finished ahead of programme in June
2005. Special use of cherry picker by IPAF Trained/Certified
operatives was made in order to reduce clients costs and by
partnering the works an early start was possible.
