The works were the complete strip out to the core
of an existing EPH, then the building was re-roofed and
reconfigured to provide 32 new sheltered apartments, each with
their own kitchen and bathroom. New communal dining areas and
community support facilities were also installed as required by
the very elderly.
The users were delighted with this new facility
and the construction team earned plaudits for the quality of the
building, which was renamed in the honour of a local dignitary.
