Refurbishment of a bar, diner and 48 bedroom hotel
including the construction of an extension to form a new hotel
reception and lobby
This extremely fast track contract (11 weeks)
required careful pre-planning and organisation as the bar and
diner were only closed for 3 weeks and the hotel refurbishment was
also phased with guests in occupation after this period. A
systematic planned approach was developed with the lead in period
before construction works started on site to ensure prompt and
'just-in-time' arrival of goods and labour to site.
The result was a project completed on time, to
budget and with an extremely pleased client.
