The building was constructed off piled foundations
wide span concrete floor planks. The external walls were solid
blockwork with a Sto Insulated render system on the outside.
At roof level rolled steel sections formed the
structure for the curved Kalzip roof. Internally 8No classrooms
were formed and a disabled lift was installed. The architect
sought to incorporate durable, practical design with modern
materials.
The result was the creation of a light, practical
teaching area which delighted the teaching staff.
