Works
were carried out to twenty-five properties spread over a four-mile
radius. The property types varied from Victorian terraces to large
flats within large Victoria semi detached houses. Works included
overhauls and complete replacements of roofs, window repairs and
replacements, repairs to brickwork and the general fabric of the
properties, and finally decoration to external surfaces. Some
works were also carried out to garden areas such as fencing and
new gates.
A large part of the success of this project was
due to the great efforts of our Resident Liaison Officer who
worked closely with the Residents to minimise disruption and in
doing so enabled this project to proceed as quickly and
harmoniously as possible.
In recognition of these efforts the project has
won two Bronze Considerate Constructors Awards for the team.
