In 2004, Mulalley’s Decorating Division were
selected to undertake a programme of works for Sanctuary Housing
in Hackney, East London. The works consisted of pre-paint repairs
and redecorations to all external surfaces and communal
staircases. The properties were all occupied during the works.
The building/repair works were surveyed as an
ongoing process as each area commenced.
The residents assisted in the selection of the
colour schemes for their homes.
Various methods of access were used including scaffolding, mobile
towers and cherry pickers.
Cherry pickers were shown to be very cost
effective and reduced inconvenience to the residents.
