The works involved the demolition of a two storey
concrete car park and podium, the conversion of a basement area to
form a new reception and the re-cladding of the ground floor
external elevation to create a new main entrance and improvements
to all common areas.
Works also included the external refurbishment and
repair of the 14-storey office block and the construction and
landscaping of a new 120-space car parking area.
The high level works were complicated by the
existence of a major telecommunications installation on the roof,
which could not be disturbed.
The aim of the project was to rejuvenate this
1960's office block and provide the ambience and standards
required by today's tenants.
