This fast track (26 week) design and build
project provided the pupils of Caterham High School with a much
needed, dedicated sports hall and shower and changing facilities.
Normal school activities continued during the works operations.
Taking the Client's outline brief, Mulalley
D&B progressed the detailed design and construction with
in-house design of the electrical and mechanical services.
The building comprised a metal and brick
clad steel portal frame on concrete foundations, providing a new
hall (with specialist sports floor), showers, changing and viewing
area.
