As
part of the sale of the former Holloway Prison Staff Quarters by
the Home Office Presentation H.A. had to undertake a major design
refurbishment and upgrade of this 1970's multi-storey Housing
Estate.
Following an interview process involving the
residents and the Home Office Mulalley were selected as 'Best
Value Partner Contractor' to undertake this scheme.
The works involved the design and installation of
new Kitchens and Bathrooms, new services installations including
the removal of an existing district heating system and the
installation of new electric heating including construction of 3
sub-stations and new distribution network throughout the site,
external refurbishment, new UPVC windows and landscape
improvements, internal works also included alterations to ensure
compliance with current Fire Escape legislation.
