Award - Mulalley to provide Decent Homes for Phoenix residents in South London

Mulalley have been appointed as one of two contractors to this new Housing Trust who are spending £71 million over the next five years to bring local homes up to the 'Phoenix Standard', a higher specification than the Government's Decent Homes Standard.
The programme expenditure will provide Mulalley with more than £35 million of work over the framework period. The second contractor appointed is Lenguard
Phoenix Community Housing is the first RSL in London to use the Community Gateway approach, which empowers tenants and leaseholders as shareholding members to be the legal owners of the transferred estates. This gives them a pivotal role in all decisions which affect their homes and their community. The Phoenix Trust consists of 6,368 properties in the Bellingham, Whitefoot and Downham area of South Lewisham.
