Following last years contract award to refurbish Melbourne Court, Mulalley and Chelmer HP have signed a partnering charter for the on going regeneration of North Chelmsford

The contract award includes the complete refurbishment of Melbourne Court, Chelmsford’s only high-rise block (15 storey), together with the construction of 28 new homes creating a new podium deck and a new neighbourhood centre. After completion the area surrounding the development will be architecturally landscaped.

Melbourne Court is part of The Parkside project which aims to create a sustainable community, bring financial investment to the area and enhance resident’s quality of life.

This £6.8m scheme will be partly funded by Chelmers recent allocation of £2,383,500 by the Housing Corporation to assist its developments throughout Essex.
