Mulalley
and Collaborative Working Centre (CWC, the consulting arm of
Constructing Excellence), in partnership with Hillingdon Homes,
held a Seminar at the The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms
in Whitehall on 26th February 2008
This well attended seminar was held to publicise the innovation behind the Cyclical Redecorations Programme that Mulalley are successfully undertaking with Hillingdon Homes.
With CWC acting as the
catalyst, and strong support from Mulalley and Hillingdon Homes, a new way of working has achieved excellent customer satisfaction and demonstrable financial benefits.
In front of an invited audience of Asset and Maintenance Directors from Local Authorities, RSL’s and ALMO’s practical lessons were outlined that could be transferred to their own management systems and procurement procedures.
Don Ward, Chief Executive of Constructing Excellence started the day with a keynote speech on Value through Collaborative Working, and how this improved performance.
Following presentations from CWC and Mulalley, a final presentation was given by Grant Walker Head of Maintenance at Hillingdon Homes on the clients prospective and quantifying the savings and gains which have been attained from working in partnership.
