Mulalley got into the festive spirit by holding a variety of Christmas events throughout December.
Santa was
also busy with over 15 deliveries of Christmas Trees to schools
and community centres in the locality of our construction sites as
well as taking time out to visit groups of local children.
At our
site in the Barkentine area of Isle of Dogs, children were treated
to a fun packed Christmas party at the local Barkentine Hall. With
face painting, balloon making and a magician the children, whose
ages ranged from 3-12, were treated to over 2 hours of festive
fun. Santa’s appearance was the icing on the cake for the
children who gathered to have a photo taken and to let him know
their secret present wish.
The
children of Seven Mills School decorated the Christmas tree in
Barkentine Square, which was donated by Mulalley. Fred Quartomini
and Christine Williams were also on hand to help with the
festivities.
At the
Roundshaw Estate in Wallington, Surrey, the local Senior Citizens
centre held a Christmas lunch, which Mulalley sponsored by a
donation towards their festivities. Valentina, RLO, was on hand to
help with the raffle.
Mulalley
also presented Garnet and Gillet Sheltered Accommodation in
Croydon boxes of chocolates (as a parting gift) for their
Christmas party, following Decent Homes Standard work in the
locality.
Donations
were also made to various community centres in Newham and Isle of
Dogs towards their Christmas parties.
At our Decent Homes Refurbishment contract in Little Ilford,
Newham, a Christmas hamper was presented to a resident as she was
the first to have her home refurbished under this project.
And
Finally – “He’s behind you”! A special Jack and the
Beanstalk Christmas panto was provided for the children of Oldmead
and Bartletts Houses in Barking to kick start the festive season.
