August 2007 - Barking and Dagenham
Charter Signing
.
Following Mulalley’s
appointment to refurbish Oldmead and Bartletts Houses, two
9-storey tower blocks, by Barking and Dagenham Council, a charter
signing was held on the 31st July 2007 to express the teams
intentions to work together as a partnership and to provide the
highest quality works “considerately” for the residents.
The charter was signed
by local Councillors Philip and Lee Waker on behalf of the
council, by Eamon O’Malley on behalf of Mulalley and many
residents representatives and council officers.
After the signing the
guests visited a pilot flat to view the new kitchens, bathrooms
and windows to be installed.
Oldmead and Bartletts
houses is an important scheme for the Borough as they invest to
improve their housing stock to meet Decent Homes standards and to
increase the energy efficiency of their tower blocks.
