On the 4th August Mulalley helped more than 200 residents of the Shoreditch Neighbourhood area make the most of the all too rare sunshine of summer 2007 at Hackney Homes fun day.
A Bingo session and Play Your Cards Right were a success with adults and children alike. Lucky winners received top prizes such as a Mini HiFi and portable TV. Ivor Goodsite and the Mulalley Clown handed out prizes, balloons and goody bags to the children.
Other events included a barbeque, healing tent, face painting, bouncy castle, and talent competition. Resident Liaison Officers were on hand to answer any queries from residents and helped to ensure a great time was had by all.
Mulalley are undertaking both internal and external refurbishment works to the Hackney Homes properties in the Shoreditch area. Works to date under this framework now exceed £27 million with a potential further value of £45m still to be committed.
