August 2007 - Newham Partnering win for Mulalley

.

Newham Council has awarded Mulalley the £8.9m refurbishment of Tanner and Nicholls Points, two 15 storey tower blocks on the Brooks Road Estate in Plaistow E.13.

This negotiated contract follows on from Mulalley's successful completion of over £13 million of previous works on the estate including the similar tower block refurbishment of Smiths Point. This striking tower has already become a landmark in the area and a focal point of the £100m regeneration of the estate.

Tanner and Nichols Points will join this tower to illustrate the potential of existing local authority high rise properties to become desirable homes in the 21st century. Works on Tanner and Nicholls Points are due commence in September with residents temporarily decanted into other homes on the estate.
