As a London Borough of Haringey framework contractor for both Capital Works and Decent Homes Mulalley were pleased to be one of the main sponsors of the 'Better Haringey Green Fair' over the weekend of 30th June at Alexandra Palace.

The emphasis of the fair was on green living, giving practical tips and advice to everyone from children to grandparents on how to care for the local environment
The fair formed part of the council's Better Haringey programme and Friday was set aside for school parties, giving them the chance to learn more about the environment with various interactive activities.

This was followed by the prestigious Better Haringey Awards 2007 celebrating the local community's achievements in making Haringey a cleaner, greener and safer place.

Saturday was open to the public with the aim of informing, educating and entertaining on the subject of living a greener lifestyle and providing every day advice on how we can all make a difference, including saving energy in the home, sustainable transport, reducing waste and fair trade.

Due to the success of the fair Haringey plan to make it an annual event.
