21 teams from the Housing Sector
spent 21/2 action packed hours raising money for charity at
Europe's largest indoor racetrack this February.
Over 100 drivers raced against their
competitors, and the clock, for the chance to
win the Mulalley Charity Classic Cup. The eventual winners,
Calfordseaden, just beat a team from Tower Homes into second
place. The evening raised over £2,500 for Mulalley's charity, MS
Action of Walthamstow.
"We are very grateful for all
those who have supported what has grown into the sector's Karting
event of the year," said Brendan O'Malley, Mulalley's
Managing Director.
MS Action is one of only three
organisations in the London region who are able to provide High
Density Oxygen Therapy. With their equipment, MS Action is able to
treat children and adults with over 80 different types of illness
and injury, including multiple sclerosis. " With the money
raised, Mulalley have helped us service and run the decompression
unit for another year." Debbie Peacock, Manager of MS Action,
said.
