As a thank you to the residents for their
co-operation and patience during the £15 million refurbishment
works to their five towers, and as part of our Community Liaison
initiative, Mulalley arranged for the residents to attend the
regular Gosport Community Association Tea Dance, held in the local
Thorngate Ballrooms.
The event was held on Monday 4th September from
1pm – 4pm, was well attended with around 40 residents joining 60
regular Gosport Community Tea Dancers.
A
total of 100 people arrived to take a twirl on the dance floor,
including Mulalley’s very own Malcolm Bushell (who actually took
dance lessons prior to the event to be in tiptop condition).
Mulalley & Co. Ltd arranged a free drink for
everyone before dancing started then supplied fresh cream cakes to
go with their tea after all the thirsty work of dancing.
All those attending were given a raffle ticket on
arrival and this was drawn towards the end of the event. 10 prizes
were won including chocolates, champagne and biscuits.
