Health and Safety advice is initially
provided to all Managers and employees through our Quality Safety and
Training (QST) Department whose resources are supplemented by internal
and external training advisors and auditors. This department combines
the role of management with one of acting as the company focus point for
support functions which the Directors believe is the most effective way
to ensure the company meets its obligations to its staff and customers.
To undertake this task the QST department fulfils a primary safety role
and combines this with the control of the company procedures set out in
our QA ISO 9001 management system supported by the identification of
needs and the implementation of training for our staff to meet the
company’s statutory and Investors in People undertakings. A library of
safety information is maintained by this department for distribution or
issue to staff.
