"This
£8.7m project required the refurbishment of a large
number of flats in blocks on a South East London estate
and commenced with full commitment to the partnering
ethos. To this end, the Kingswood Estate Charter was
produced and signed by all participants. Personal
interviews were held with residents to check for potential
problems. Any clash with school drop off and collection
times was avoided. The excellent site set up area was
tarmaced and locals were allowed to use the area for car
washing. A Mulalley van was at the disposal of residents
for moving large items such as furniture."
