"This £5m project for repairs and
renewals to a number of blocks of flats occupied mainly by
prison officers from the nearby Holloway prison.
The site was well presented, with
professional accommodation and painted ply hoardings. The
Site Manager was well liked and respected and was ably
assisted by several Tenant Liaison Officers who were
employed full time. A pre-start open day was held and
followed up by regular newsletters. Respite units were
provided for residents' use whilst their flats were out of
action during the day.
The cleaning of the whole of the estate
was taken over by Mulalley for the duration of the job and
was kept very clean and well maintained. A site specific
environmental policy was in force."
