Judges Comments: 

"St Peters Court is a multi-storey block of flats in the centre of Lowestoft. The work entailed the renewal of electrical wiring, replacement of kitchens, the repainting of communal areas and the extension and refurbishment of the resident's lounge - all whilst the flats were occupied.

Building on their relationships and experiences developed during Phase 1, Mulalley had the full support of both the tenants and Waveney District Council whilst carrying our their work.

A residents' lounge was provided with cooking facilities, television and quiet area. A very dedicated tenant liaison officer was employed. His knowledge of each tenants requirements was legendary. The workforce was stable and caring.

Christmas parties and summer barbecues were held for the residents and a quarterly newsletter circulated for information.

The fact that there was not one formal complaint during a years extensive work in 90 occupied flats is proof of the way that Mulalley, and particularly the Project team, approached and carried out the contract to exemplary standards."
